Learn how students and teachers combine technology and environmental education in their daily work.

The School and Its Profile

BRG Keplerstraße in Graz is a secondary school for students aged 10 to 18 with a strong focus on robotics, computer science, and natural sciences. The school places great importance on hands-on learning and encourages students to develop technical skills alongside creative and critical thinking. Through project-based learning and interdisciplinary approaches, students are introduced to important future topics such as digitalisation, sustainability, and environmental awareness.

Robotics and Competitions

One of the main strengths of BRG Kepler is its strong engagement in robotics and programming. Students regularly take part in national and international competitions such as RoboCup and the Knapp Robo League. These activities help them develop teamwork, problem-solving skills, and project management abilities. At the same time, students gain confidence in working with technology and in turning their own ideas into practical solutions.

Contribution to the GreenTech Project

Within the Erasmus+ project GreenTech with micro:bit, BRG Kepler actively contributes its expertise in science and technology education. The school tests teaching materials, develops practical classroom examples, and supports student projects related to environmental and technological topics. Through close cooperation with international partner organisations, BRG Kepler plays an important role in improving the project guide and in promoting sustainable environmental education in everyday school life.
